Allison B. Vandenhouten, Psy.D. Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Allison Vandenhouten graduated from Nova Southeastern University and completed her internship at the Florida State Student Counseling Center. She received intensive training in the treatment of eating disorders during her post doctoral residency at the Renfrew Center for Eating Disorders. She has had extensive experience in a variety of therapeutic settings including child and adult psychiatric facilities, child/adolescent outpatient programs, community mental health centers, residential treatment and university counseling centers. Her areas of specialization include childhood behavioral problems, ADHD, parenting skills, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, stress management, relationship problems, identity/self-esteem issues, bereavement and trauma/abuse.
